Police in Nottingham have been videoed using a taser stun gun 3 times on a man who was causing a disturbance outside a nightclub on Monday night. The whole incident was videod by a member of the public. Not only was the man stunned twice by Taser, it also shows the Police punch the man on his upper body. This incident has now been passed to The Independent Police Complaints Commission who after watching the video, thinks there may be grounds for further investigation. Truth is, the video fails to show how confrontational the man might have been before the Police took action to taser him.

Crime and the Video Games Debate
A new study released by Texas University shows that there is no direct correlation between those exposed to violent video games and increasing crime statistics. The author of the study, Christopher Ferguson of Texas A&M International University, exposes that violent video games such as ‘Grand Theft Auto’ and their like, do not desensitise the game player and encourage them to go out and commit criminal behaviour. The study, instead comes to the conclusion that ‘moral panic’ sets in after a violent or horrific crime has taken place and video games are seen as an easy target for politicians, media and parents to blame.
