Holiday and Travel Security Guide

Personal Safety whilst in Hostel/Hotel Rooms:
Many Hostels/Hotels either have no locks or you don't know who else has a key. The Defender Personal Alarm and Door Protector Accessory as a combined unit, offers an ideal safeguard allowing you to temporarily fit the alarm to a wall or frame (bracket supplied) near the door or window requiring protection. If the door or window are then opened whilst you are sleeping, the 140Db alarm will sound!

Alternatively, (for doors only) the Door Wedge Alarm acts like a normal door wedge but if the door is forced from outside, the 120Db alarm sounds. The clever bit with this piece of kit is that the harder the door is forced, the harder the resistance from the Door Wedge.

Personal Safety while out and about:
A Personal Attack Alarm is essential. They are small and easy to operate, sounding a very loud (up to 140Db) shrill alarm thus disturbing the attacker long enough for you to get away quickly whilst attracting attention at the same time! The superb 'Genny All-Purpose Alarm' will also connect to your bag and clip to your belt at the same time, letting out a loud alarm if someone tries to snatch or remove your bag. It has a handy torch facility and test button too!

All these items use batteries that are available worldwide, are easy to use and very lightweight. They offer portable personal security when away from home.

If you want advice, please call, we're here to help!
