Bicycle Theft Prevention & Marking Kit Description
This is a cost effective Theft Prevention Pack which contains a 1.8m Lockable Vinyl Coated Bike Cable made by Master Lock and a Marking Kit. The marking kit consists of a Permanent UV Marking Pen and 6 Warning Stickers plus clear laminate lables. Everything needed to ensure that your precious bike is padlocked and marked with your post code.
Police advise to mark your bike in at least 2 places with your post code and house number. Then cover these UV markings with the clear laminate labels provided which are waterproof and therefore help maintain the UV marking for a very long period of time. The Warning Stickers are a visible deterrent to the thief and the UV marking will help police identify the true owner. Because we use clear laminated lables, it will be difficult for a thief to find exactly where you have marked the bike and even if they get lucky with finding one of the markings, they are unlikely to find all of them. If the bicycle is recovered by police, it is easy for them to reunite it with the owner.
This kit is also ideal for securing and marking other items of valuable equipment too such as lawn mowers, ladders and other garden equipment.
