I had a bike stolen virtually under my nose while I had a coffee. They cut the lock and it disappeared in the space of two minutes. So I bought this alarm from CPP and another alarm from sourcingmap to do a comparison test. The CPP alarms are much superior. The alarm is deafening! It does what it says on the box. Setting the alarm is just two clicks of a button. It gives a warning if the bike is moved a littel ,then full blast after 10 seconds. A good deterrent. Only drawback is the fixing to the bike - a single standard screw which can easily be unscrewed by a careful thief. A non-reverse screw head should be supplied.

Bike Alarm with Movement Sensor Description
This small weatherproof bike alarm is designed to fit to the handlebars of your bike and will trigger a full alarm when movement or possible theft is detected. It sounds a loud warning on the first detection of movement and re-sets itself if no further movement is identified within 3 seconds. If the theft or movement continues, the bike alarm will continually sound.
The Bike Alarm uses 3 x AAA alkaline batterries (not supplied). The unit is armed by entering your own 4 digit code (so no more lost or misplaced keys!). The red LED will blink for 5 seconds and will continue blinking every 5 seconds or so to warn that it is armed.
Whenever the unit detects any motion or shock, it will generate a beep warning sound. If multiple movements are detected or a further movement within 3 seconds of the first detection, the alarm will sound and may only be turned off by entering the correct 4 digit code.
As if that is not clever enough, this bike alarm also has a Emergency Panic Alarm feature whereby you only need press a designated button for a few seconds and the alarm sound instantly.
