Purchased 2 of these to secure my shed and garage doors and very impressed. They are reassuringly heavy duty in construction with a thick shackle. Very impressed with the alarm, it's very loud and the sensitivity of the trigger is just right. Comes with the batteries installed as well as including a spare set which is a nice addition. Having purchased 2 padlocks I can confirm the keys for each unit are unique! Very pleased and great value for money. Highly recommended! PM

Ordered Mon: & arrived next day. We had our garage broken into and wanted something that would alert us before they started even trying to get in, these alarmed padlocks are just brilliant, easy to use, loud and does the job. Chaperone® Siren Padlock Alarm Description

Welcome to the Chaperone® Siren Padlock Alarm, a new concept that gives the user double the security of a conventional padlock. When this padlock is disturbed twice within the space of 5 seconds, the powerful 110dB two tone alarm will sound.
Initial movement gives a warning beep, giving you time to turn off the alarm with the supplied key. Continued movement will trigger the full alarm.
The siren will continue for about 10 seconds and is a great deterrent to the would-be thief or opportunistic burglar so will put off all but the most determined. The padlock re-arms itself after about 10 seconds ready to deter the next person foolish enough to tamper with it, of course, if the movement continues, the siren also continues to sound!
