Directional 15dB CCTV Antenna Description
This is an extremely useful accessory for our Professional Wireless CCTV System because you can effectively increase the range of the system by 3 or 4 times covering up to 400m (line of sight). This is sometimes necessary even if the camera is closer but the signal has to pass through several walls or the obstructions to the signal are quite thick (as in old farmhouses for example).
If you have more than one camera in the same direction from the Receiver (within say 35 - 40 degrees) then fitting one of these antennas to the Receiver will work on both cameras.
For really problematical scenarios you should fit an antenna to both the Receiver AND to the Camera giving the most problem (in this way, a range of up to 1KM may be achieved).
