I have a flat in town that I live in during the working week, but I go home to my family at the weekends so I got a few of these plug in timers to turn on a couple of lamps so that it looks like there is someone in my flat. GS Leics.

Weekly Digital Plug-in Timer allows you to set different times on different days. Description
The Weekly Digital Plug-in Timer works by switching on or off any electrical item of equipment that is plugged into it up to a maximum 3000w. There are up to 8 different On/Off programmes over the course of a week.
16 combinations of days or blocks of days are available, for example: Each day individually - Whole Week - All Weekdays - Weekend Only - Alternate Weekdays etc.
The Timer can be set to operate in either On, Off or Full Auto Mode with a one button operation to select between the three.
There is even a 'Random' setting whereby the Timer will randomly advance the programmes by anything from 2 to 32 minutes - Talk about fooling a burglar!
